Cake serving size can vary depending on the shape of your cake and who’s in charge of cutting! Our celebration cakes tend on average to be two layers deep and approximately 5 - 6" tall, and we have listed below a guideline for portions based on cake diameter. Dessert serving amounts are based on cake slices that measure about 1½ x 2 inches in size and are based on slicing a round cake into triangle portions.

With double height and tiered wedding cakes, our portion guides are based on a different slicing technique and slightly smaller portions suitable for a party, which is discussed as part of our bespoke cake service. • 5 inch round - 2 layer cake serves  4/5 people 

• 6 inch round - 2 layer cake serves  6/8 people 

• 7 inch round - 2 layer cake serves 8/10 people 

• 8 inch round - 2 layer cake serves 10/12 people 

• 9 inch round - 2 layer cake serves 16/20 people 

• 10 inch round - 2 layer cake serves 20/30 people
